Mike Lee

Mike LEE is the China Director of Just Solutions based in Shezhen, China.  From a career as Quality Manager for a large US-listed electronics manufacturing company, Mike moved his focus to social and systems auditing. Since 2001 Mike and his four-person team have focused on providing professional training, consulting and auditing solutions in a series of standards and schemes, including SA8000, BSCI, EICC, Sedex, BRC, ISO9000, ISO/TS16949, ISO14000, OHSAS18000.

Mike’s personal experience covers a diverse range of industry sectors, including toys, textiles, garments, electronics, hardware, automotive, jewellery, mining, quarrying and applying ISO13485 cGMP for pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing facilities.  Mike is also a Lead Auditor for SAAS Accreditation Services, and the Lead Trainer for SAI Basic & Advanced Auditor Courses in China and East Asia.

Mike and his team provide consulting solutions for the most common non-compliance issues to all social codes – including excessive overtime working and poor communications between management and workers – through a successful capacity-building program featuring lean manufacturing, worker empowerment and social involvement.  Most recently the team has worked with a major global shoe manufacturer and with high-street clothing brands to introduce dialogue-based solutions to enhance worker voice and engagement.
